Murals for Gaza: Residents of Bo Kaap, a historic neighbourhood in Cape Town, started a project called "Murals for Gaza". The community worked with artists both inside Bo Kaap and across the city to paint murals on the walls of homes in the famous neighbourhood. They also painted a large Palestinian flag across three buildings in the Bo Kaap flats. The community, who have a long history of struggle against apartheid and these days a struggle against gentrification, says the murals and paintings are a message to the world that Bo Kaap stands with the Palestinians.
